Awards & Recognition For Teresa LC Ahmad
I'm honored to have so many pieces juried into a show and winning specific awards as well. If you are not familiar with art show juries, it's a process of selecting the best of the best to be part of an exhibit or compete in a show. To be 'juried in' is an award in itself.

Since 2015 to present day, I have been given many opportunities to expand my art interests. Although I haven't spent much time doing "my own" I have done some fantastically fun pieces for others. You can check out what I am up to on my

I submitted to a small number of competitions this year and exhibited in private shows and fairs. 2013 was a year to focus on strengthening my portfolio. With over 15 new pieces for my "Marine Life" theme, the addition of the "Song Series," many commissions for pet and architectural portraits, more pieces inspired by trips to the Zoo, and experimenting with mediums, I am ready to pursue more competitions in 2014.
